He discovered that Williamson Central Appraisal District has quick and easy to find answers here, at WCAD.org, and wants to share them with you.
Many people have heard that a homestead exemption can save money. A click on the homestead info banner on the WCAD.org homepage will provide details on that topic. Other questions regarding the homestead exemption or various activities performed by the Appraisal District throughout the year can be viewed on the video section. Each April, when appraisal notices are mailed, residential owners can click the market information banner that leads to an overview of the real estate market activity used to set the appraised values. Additionally, the Knowledge Base feature on the homepage can be used to type any topic in the search window for useful articles posted for property owners. Or, website users can select the chat feature which enables text communication with a Public Services representative during normal business hours instead of having to call.
