Since you are already at WCAD.org, here are the next easy steps to follow to find the status of your Exemptions.

First, from the WCAD home page you will select “Property Search”.

Next, type in your name or address in the search box.

Your name and property will appear in a drop down, select your property.

Next, you will see a page with your specific property and information.

This is where you will find the status of all of your Exemptions.

On this page you will look for “Owner Information” and then “Exemptions”.

All Exemptions will be shown here. Homestead, Tax Code 11.13(c) (Over 65), Disabled Person, and so on.

The status next to the exemption type will state the current status of the Exemption, such as Received, Pending, or Active.

Remember, Exemption processing may take up to 90 days.

If you have checked the status and see your Exemption is “Active”, and have filed for prior years, and believe you may have a refund owed, please contact the Williamson County Tax Assessor Collector at ☎️ 512-943-1601 for refund status, as they are responsible for handling the collection and refunding of taxes in the county.

And there you have it. That’s all there is to it! If you don’t see that you have an Exemption added to the property and you believe there should be, or you simply have questions, please call our office and speak with someone in Customer Service at:
