An increase in homes hitting the market in 2021 and high demand with limited supplies affected the housing market drastically. The 2022 ABoR President Cord Shiflet is quoted in this article as saying that the 2021 housing market is the “most exciting, complicated, fast-paced, and record-setting” market in Austin’s history.
