COVID-19 Response

WCAD is doing everything possible to protect our staff and the public from the potential of contracting and/or spreading COVID-19. We have done the following in preparation for in-person Appraisal Review Board hearings:

  • Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order GA-36, beginning Monday May 24th, WCAD will no longer require face coverings to enter our facility.
  • We will keep all other COVID-19 related protocols in place to mitigate risk of a COVID-19 outbreak prohibiting us from reaching the State mandated deadline to certify the appraisal roll.
  • WCAD will respect those that wish to continue to wear a mask and make every attempt to accommodate concerned customers wishes to meet with masked staff.
  • Limiting the number of people allowed to wait in our lobby
  • Installed plexiglass shields at every workstation
  • Cleaning/disinfecting workstations, chairs, equipment, etc. after each customer interaction
  • Frequent cleaning of regularly used surfaces, restrooms, etc.

Doors
  • Our front entrance has line indicators every six feet
  • Doors are designed as an entrance or an exit
  • We will have a user friendly way to wait in your vehicle until your appointment

Check In
  • We have closed our kids play area
  • We have provided hand sanitizer at the entrances/exits for use with the touch screen kiosk

Lobby
  • Our lobby has limited its capacity per social distancing guidelines

Appraiser ARB Rooms
  • A third of our Residential Appraisers have been moved to larger areas for social distancing, with plexiglass barriers
  • Appraisers will be sanitizing our shared surfaces between appeals

Appraisal Cube
  • All desks have plexiglass barriers and hand sanitizer

ARB Room 4
  • Our Appraisal Review Board has been moved to larger rooms per social distancing

ARB Room 1
  • Property owners will be guided to stay behind the plexiglass barriers provided in the shared spaces

ARB Room 1
  • Temperatures are taken daily of every staff member before they enter the building to ensure no one has a temperature of 100.4 ℉ (38 ℃) or greater per CDC guidelines
