COVID-19 Response

WCAD is doing everything possible to protect our staff and the public from the potential of contracting and/or spreading COVID-19. We have done the following in preparation for in-person Appraisal Review Board hearings:

• Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order GA-36, beginning Monday May 24th, WCAD will no longer require face coverings to enter our facility.
• We will keep all other COVID-19 related protocols in place to mitigate risk of a COVID-19 outbreak prohibiting us from reaching the State mandated deadline to certify the appraisal roll.
• WCAD will respect those that wish to continue to wear a mask and make every attempt to accommodate concerned customers wishes to meet with masked staff.
• Limiting the number of people allowed to wait in our lobby
• Installed plexiglass shields at every workstation
• Cleaning/disinfecting workstations, chairs, equipment, etc. after each customer interaction
• Frequent cleaning of regularly used surfaces, restrooms, etc.

Our front entrance has line indicators every six feet Doors are designed as an entrance or an exit We will have a user friendly way to wait in your vehicle until your appointment

Our lobby has limited its capacity per social distancing guidelines

A third of our Residential Appraisers have been moved to larger areas for social distancing, with plexiglass barriers Appraisers will be sanitizing our shared surfaces between appeals

All desks have plexiglass barriers and hand sanitizer

Our Appraisal Review Board has been moved to larger rooms per social distancing

Property owners will be guided to stay behind the plexiglass barriers provided in the shared spaces

Temperatures are taken daily of every staff member before they enter the building to ensure no one has a temperature of 100.4 ℉ (38 ℃) or greater per CDC guidelines
