Maintains the ownership records of all real property within the county by processing deeds, and mapping the real estate; supports the appraisal department with ownership and mapping needs

The Maps and Records department processes deeds to obtain the correct ownership of the real properties within the county. The deeds are obtained from the Williamson County Clerk's office and from property owners who provide the deeds to the appraisal district. This department maintains the ownership on the real property accounts, and maps the properties within our GIS mapping system.
