Land appraisal The Land Appraisal department is responsible for the valuation of all vacant and improved land parcels annually. This involves the analysis of vacant land sales, as well as analysis of improved land sales. With the ever-expanding development within Williamson County, the land department’s review of the sales indicates trends of land transitioning from rural to suburban/urban. This department also coordinates with residential builders in the area for the valuation of builder’s inventory as of January 1 of each year.
